Description
Casablanca, Thursday, 26 November 2026. With his new exhibition at La Galerie 38 in Casablanca, Moroccan artist Younes Khourassani opens a significant chapter in his artistic practice. Having explored chromatic vibrations and the illusions of optical art, he returns to material through ceramics, transforming it into sculptural wall panels and sensitive architectural compositions. Between earth and sky, his works explore movement, light and infinity, bringing ancestral gestures into dialogue with contemporary technologies.
One conviction has accompanied Khourassani throughout the years and the transformations of his practice: matter is never inert. It holds memory, carries energy and possesses an almost mysterious capacity to reinvent itself. In his new exhibition at La Galerie 38 in Casablanca, the artist takes this reflection further, approaching ceramics as a field of exploration in which the boundaries between sculpture, painting and architecture begin to dissolve.
