Participation in the exhibition "Faces of Silence" in Agadir, where Younes Khourassani proposes a work that reactivates the memory of sound through the faces of the oud, in an approach combining material and human expression.
On this occasion, Younes Khourassani presents a work that continues his research on memory and trace, in connection with a previous body of work involving musical instruments. Here, however, a transformation takes place: the faces of the oud become a space of expression, where the instrument exceeds its sonic function to access a human dimension. The instrument no longer produces sound; it carries its imprint. It no longer transmits music, but presence. Sound is no longer heard—it is displaced into the visual realm.
